Our Nylon Coating Process
We use a fluidized bed coating process. The nylon is applied through a dip process where the part goes through an alkaline wash, preheated and dipped into a dry powder that is fluidized with air and cured in an oven. Our Nylon coating is most noted for its durability and offers approximately the same build thickness as vinyl, but cures harder, thus offering greater resistance to impact, abrasion, corrosion and solvents. Nylon is also excellent for friction reducing applications.
